LaTex Tutorial 2016

Collaborating with the CAPD, we organised the LaTeX tutorial that took place on 28th Jan, 3-5pm, Room W207, Queen’s Building. An easy to follow lecture was given by Peter Foster, accompanied by a hands-on lab. Three committee members, Siying Wang, Maria Panteli and Mahadi Hasan Meem, helped with lab configuration and answering students’ questions during the lab exercises.

There were more than 40 participants, all the seats (with desktop) were occupied and we needed to borrow chairs from next door room to adding seats for people bringing their own laptops! According to their feedbacks, the tutorial was clear, straightforward and very helpful. Several people expressed that they expected more tutorials from us! 

Since there were a lot people in the waiting list during registration, we decide to run the tutorial again in April! More info coming soon! We look forward to seeing you there.

Our next event is our Valentine’s themed Circuit Building competition on Friday 12th February.
