4th QMUL IEEE Student Paper Contest

All Queen Mary undergraduate and postgraduate students are invited to participate in the 4th QMUL IEEE Student Paper Contest, with a deadline of Sunday 4th November 2012. This contest will be held in two levels, for undergraduate and graduate students.

The articles will be reviewed by a panel of research staff members from QMUL and cash prizes will be awarded to best top 2 papers in each level of undergraduate and graduate students. It means there are 4 cash prizes as follow:

  • 1st prize (undergraduate/graduate): £60
  • 2nd prize (undergraduate/graduate): £40

In addition, the contest committee will make a selection between the best undergraduate and graduate paper and the selected paper will be submitted to the IEEE Region 8 Student Paper Contest. Accepted papers at the Region 8 contest will be presented at the EUROCON 2013 Conference, 1-4 July 2013, Zagreb, Croatia.

Authors of accepted papers at the Region 8 contest will be financially supported by the IEEE for attending the conference. The authors of the three best Region 8 papers will also receive cash prizes respectively USD 800, USD500 and USD200.
